Fairfield Avenue School of Fencing offers private and group training in theatrical combat for stage, TV or Film. Andy has choreographed fencing commercials for IBM, Diet Coke and Adidas, and has worked on over 50 stage productions in New York and Los Angeles. Andy’s tenure in Los Angeles had gotten him many jobs in the movie business as a Stage Combat teacher / trainer for the following: Russell Crowe, Bob Dylan, Kiefer Sutherland and Chris O’Donnell for “The Three Musketeers,” John Ritter, Rick Schroeder, Beau Bridges for “The Fifth Musketeer,” Blair Underwood, Mia Sara, Bob Dylan, Eric Roberts, and Jimmy Buffett.
In Shreveport Andy trained a show for the East Bank Theater, Southfield School – “The Nutcracker, ” Marjorie Lyons Playhouse – “Macbeth,” and it booked to for an upcoming Gilbert and Sullivan production, “Romeo and Juliet” to open at LSUS in March, and the Shreveport Opera.
Former Fairfield instructors Don Webb and Terry Gamble worked together with Mischa Farrell, Philip Hand, Jack Delo and Benjamin Pearce on a choreographed fight to open the movie “The Legend of Zorro” at the Regal Cinema at the Boardwalk. The group supplied their own costumes and practiced for a brief two weeks. They provided an entertaining series of fights that attracted a number of people to the theater for the show.
